About Us

What sets Christianity apart from every other religion?

In every religion except Christianity, it’s what you do in life that gets you into heaven. In Christianity, the only thing that will get you into heaven is believing in Jesus Christ. It’s the gift of Grace, freely given by God. There is nothing you can do to earn it. All you need to do is accept it. That’s the whole point of “Jesus is Perfect; I am Not.” You don’t have to be perfect to get to heaven or even to be a Christian. We are not Christians because we are perfect; we are Christians because we are not. Jesus is the perfect one. Discover His Peace.

Meet the team

I was hesitant to put anything about me on this website because I don’t want it to be about me; I want it to be about Jesus. However, my Marketing Director said people like to know who’s behind the website so here’s a little background for you. The idea for this slogan and web site came from God. I had been praying for weeks and months to hear God’s voice and asking him to use me for his purposes. One Sunday night my wife and I went to a Bible study at an old friend of my wife’s. At the end, when they went around the room and asked what everyone wanted prayer for, I said I wanted to hear God’s voice. My wife was a bit frustrated with that because she felt I should have asked for prayer for finding a job, since I had been out of work for several months. Mid morning the next day while my wife was at work, I had a vision of a slogan which became: Jesus is Perfect; I am Not. It took another 15 months for us to get to the point of launching this web site. At every turn there have been obstacles placed in our way. We continue to step out in faith, knowing that things happen in God’s timing, not ours. It is our hope that this website will be a part of your spiritual journey.

I am a wife, homemaker and secretary in my daily life.  We are soon to be the happy 'parents' of two Jack Russell Terrier pups.   I have been a Christian for going on 40 years.   I believe in the power of prayer and want others to know God's love and forgiveness.  We are excited to act on the word the Lord gave Don and to share about God's love and forgiveness, to truly find His peace.  Through our products and website we want to be a resource for inspiration and encouragement, partnering with other organizations to aid them with their ministry and meet people's needs in a variety of areas.  We are praying our way throughout this journey and look forward to seeing where God leads us.

Hi, I'm Tim, pastor of Refuge Church in Lynnwood, WA. I'm originally from Chicago and still miss the pizza there ... but Seattle is growing on me. (like moss)
I have a beautiful wife and a great daughter, both put up with me and usually laugh at my jokes.

I graduated from Hope College and Reformed Theological Seminary and have worked in churches, at UPS and in Fortune 500 companies.  It’s been a wild ride and I can't wait to see what God has set up for me next.
